A little bit about me and how I came to launch my textile business….

I have always felt drawn to being creative and I graduated in 1997 with a degree In Decorative Arts, where I specialised in Textiles.

I initially worked in Buckingham Palace on a long term project where we had to curate every piece of art in the Palace.

I then went to work for a high end fabric design company in Chelsea who made (and still make today) the most exquisite hand embroidered fabrics. Working there exposed me to the factory side of producing textiles and producing textiles on a larger scale as I spent time in China at the factories that produced some of our textiles.

After having children I decided to run my own business from home. I initially sold through notonthehighstreet which worked well for me as I had no experience on how to market myself. It was at the beginning of buying online and it helped me to grow my business.

I then moved to Dubai and set up over there selling to expats for many years. Now back in the UK I wanted to continue running my business whilst adopting a slower pace of life.

My collection is unique, growing and ever changing to fit into my unique, growing and ever changing life!
